Start with the earnings disclaimer

Red flags
- "Done for you" systems that promise income while you sleep.
- Countdown timers and "only 3 spots left" on a digital product.
- No clear curriculum, only lifestyle videos.
- The real cost hidden in upsells, coaching tiers or paid traffic.
- Pressure to recruit others or buy the same course again under a new name.
Green flags
- A detailed module list that teaches a skill: copywriting, SEO, email marketing, paid ads, building a website.
- Named instructors with a track record you can verify outside the sales page.
- Honest statements about time, budget and risk.
- A clear refund window processed by the retailer.
Questions to ask yourself
- How much will I spend on top of the course (tools, hosting, ads)?
- How many hours a week can I realistically commit?
- Could I learn this from free resources first?
