The Genius Switch is a digital audio series sold through ClickBank for $39. It comes from the team behind The Genius Wave, and its sales page promises to "rev up your brain power". This guide looks at what you get, checks whether the scientific references on the sales page actually support the product, and compares it with a similar product, The Brain Song.
Important: This page is general information, not medical advice. The seller states its claims haven't been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and that the product isn't intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Treat it as a self-improvement listening routine, not a treatment.
Quick verdict
- What it is: a digital audio series you listen to at home. The box, disc and phone in the product image are illustrations; the checkout lists it as a digital product.
- Price: $39 one-time at the ClickBank checkout we checked. The page shows "regular" prices of $200, $100 and $49, which we can't confirm were ever charged.
- Refund: 90 days through ClickBank.
- Our take: a relaxing routine you can try with a long refund window, but none of the studies it cites tested this audio, so its brain-power claims are unproven.
What you get
- The Genius Switch audio series, with instant digital access after checkout.
- A "Quick Start" guide and bonuses, according to the sales page, which doesn't list them in detail.
- Optional extra offers may appear after checkout. You don't need them to get the main audio.
Do the cited studies support the claims?
The sales page lists 10 scientific references. We checked what each is about:
| Reference | What it actually studied | Tests the audio? |
|---|---|---|
| UC Davis Health news, 2024 | Average human brain size increasing across generations | No |
| Nobel Prize facts: Roger Sperry | 1981 Nobel for split-brain research | No |
| Brown & Paul, 2024, Front Hum Neurosci | The corpus callosum and creativity | No |
| Luders et al., 2009, Intelligence | Brain anatomy linked to intelligence | No |
| Luders et al., 2010, J Neurosci | How the corpus callosum develops | No |
| Fannin & Williams, 2012 (PSYCH-K PDF) | A "whole-brain state" paper published by a commercial training company | No |
| Huskey et al., 2018, J Commun | Brain network markers of "flow" during video-game play | No |
| Liu et al., 2021, Front Aging Neurosci | How the corpus callosum changes with age | No |
| Shafer et al., 2024, J Am Soc Mass Spectrom | Effects of diet on brain lipids in mice | No |
| Joshi et al., 2024, Int Psychogeriatr | Social connection and cognitive health in older adults | No |
These are mostly genuine studies about brain anatomy, ageing and creativity. None of them tested The Genius Switch or any audio track, and none shows that listening to sound can "switch on" genius. One isn't peer-reviewed research at all. A list of references like this can make a product look scientific without providing evidence for it.
For context, independent research on sound-based brainwave entrainment, such as binaural beats, has found small and inconsistent effects on memory and attention (Garcia-Argibay et al., 2019; Psychol Res, 2023).

Who it may suit, and who should skip it
May suit you if:
- You enjoy guided or ambient audio as part of a focus or relaxation routine.
- You're happy to treat $39 as an experiment with a 90-day refund window.
Skip it, or ask a doctor first, if:
- You have epilepsy or a seizure disorder; check before using rhythmic audio.
- You're looking for a proven way to improve memory or intelligence.
- You have new or worsening memory or concentration problems. See a doctor.
Keep the volume moderate and don't listen while driving.
Is The Genius Switch legit or a scam?
The Genius Switch is a real product sold through ClickBank, which processes the payment and handles refunds, so you're buying from a known retailer rather than an anonymous site. "Legit" isn't the same as "works as advertised", though. It's a $39 digital audio series with a 90-day refund, but none of the studies it cites tested this audio, so its brain-power claims are unproven.
- Buy only through the official page or ClickBank checkout. Many search results for "genius switch reviews" are press releases, paid posts and copied pages that repeat the sales pitch, not independent tests.
- Keep your order number and email receipt; you need them for any refund.
Common complaints and red flags

- Inflated "regular" prices. The page shows $200, $100 and $49 "regular" prices that we can't confirm were ever charged.
- Borrowed science. The cited studies didn't test this product.
