AI writing assistants can draft ads, emails, social posts and blog outlines in seconds. Jasper (which started life as Conversion.ai, then Jarvis) was one of the first popular tools for marketers. Here's how these tools work and how to choose one.
What AI writing tools do well
- Beat the blank page: outlines, headline ideas and first drafts.
- Repurpose content: turn a blog post into tweets, a newsletter or a video script.
- Write short marketing copy in a set tone of voice.
- Work in many languages, including Spanish.
Where they fall short
- They can state wrong facts with confidence, so every claim needs checking.
- Output can sound generic unless you add your own experience and examples.
- Search engines reward helpful, original content, not volume. Edit heavily before publishing.
Jasper at a glance
Jasper focuses on marketing teams: brand voice settings, templates for ads and emails, and team collaboration. It's a subscription service, usually with a trial. Check current pricing on the official site, because plans change often.
Alternatives worth comparing

How to choose
- Start with a free trial and test it on a real task you do every week.

- Check data and privacy terms before pasting client material.
- Keep a human editor in the loop.
FAQ
Is Jasper the same as Conversion.ai?
Yes. The product launched as Conversion.ai, was renamed Jarvis, and later became Jasper.
Can AI write a whole blog for me?
It can draft one, but good results need a person to fact-check, add real experience and edit.
